Paeonia Lactiflora ‘Elsa Sass’
Peony Elsa Sass is a double, white colored lactiflora that will flower very late in the season. The late moment in flowering is what makes this variety unique. The large flower buds will develop into big white flowers, the plant itself is dark green and compact. Productivity is considered to be medium-high. Elsa Sass is widely used in colder climates to lengthen the cutting season of peonies. It’s important to harvest the flowers at a late stage to insure the opening of the buds.
