This variety is known for her robust appearance; everything about this variety is big and very sturdy. The soft pink colored buds will change its color to white during the growing process. The dark green color of the large leaves and the sturdy stems makes Carl G. Klehm is a very heavy cut flower peony that will perform well in all climates including greenhouse cultivation. Fun fact: Carl G. Klehm is named after the father of the breeder called Klehm.
