Characteristics

Paeonia hybrid ‘Blonde Vision’ doesn’t dazzle with drama—it seduces with subtlety. Each bloom is a measured study in light: pale buttercream petals touched with the faintest blush, unfolding in layers like soft linen in morning sun. The flowers are fully double, neatly rounded, and delicately fragrant, held upright by dependable stems that rise to 75 cm. Compact yet refined, ‘Blonde Vision’ blooms in the early to mid-season window and thrives as both a premium cut flower and a landscape focal point with quiet distinction.

Origin Blonde Vision Peony

A recent introduction to the hybrid peony spectrum, ‘Blonde Vision’ reflects the modern breeder’s pursuit of nuance—soft yellow tones, consistent form, and practical strength. Though its exact parentage remains a guarded lineage, it likely descends from the early hybridisation efforts to expand beyond the typical pink and red palette. Its rare hue and precise architecture make it a collector’s item among growers looking for something both graceful and commercially unique.

HYBRID

Hybrid peonies like ‘Blonde Vision’ offer a synthesis of structure and beauty: strong stems, early emergence, and durable foliage form the backbone—while the bloom speaks in a new visual language. Its soft yellow shade is rarely found in peony cultivars, giving it added value in boutique floristry and modern landscape schemes. The flower opens with discipline and holds its form through weather shifts and handling, making it ideal for production with post-harvest reliability.

How to plant

What follows are the steps for planting Blonde Vision peony roots:
Peonies flourish in locations with plenty of sunlight and well-draining soil. Choose a location that receives at least six hours of sunlight every day and has organic-rich soil. Create a hole that is 30 cm (12 inches) broad and 10 cm (4 inches) deep. To boost soil fertility, loosen the soil at the bottom of the hole with a garden fork or spade and mix in some compost or well-rotted manure. Remove any stones or trash and break up any clumps. Insert the peony root into the hole so that the eyes (or growth buds) face up and are no more than 5 cm (2 inches) below the soil surface. Backfill the hole with dirt, gently firming it down to remove any air pockets. Thoroughly water the newly planted peony root to help settle the dirt around the roots. Soak the soil around the plant using a watering can or hose, being careful not to wash it away. Mulch the plant’s base with a 5 to 7.5 cm (2 to 3 inch) layer of organic mulch, such as shredded bark or straw.
